Hi, I’m Katy. This is me in my crazy gear trying to get everything planted and the garden beds flipped for fall. What are you putting in the ground and what has you stumped? My favorite thing to plant this time of year is snapdragons, but I also try to direct seed things like Larkspur and statice with mixed results.

Amaranth is one of my favorite crops to grow, but sometimes I have a hard time getting it to germinate. This year I used native Seeds, and was rewarded with giant stocks and great production. If you’re looking for some special seeds to grow in your garden, check out Native Seeds/SEARCH

Early fall update in the annual garden. Flipping beds and savoring the last of the summer blooms. Come October I will plant out all of my starts. Always a tricky transition for me as the farmers markets open back up and my Flower production slows as it prepares for new blooms in the spring.
