Part of a makeover I just finished for some clients....a gorgeous new console and lamps to show off a newly purchased Eddie Hamilton painting. It's 48 x 48 and adds a great view to the end of a long room. Much of my design work involves choosing the right art, and I am a big fan of local original art. Thanks Eddie! marybaconinteriors.com

A St. Paul craftsman home I helped some clients with this year. It took a while to get all the elements just right, and it was worth it! A music listening area, and a sunroom for reading and relaxing. Open and sunny, with lots of functionality. Good design is often like a putting together a perfect puzzle of beauty and ergonomics. marybaconinteriors.com

Another project finished....for this living room I saved the sofa and rug, and replaced everything else. The room is much lighter, fresher, and more modern now. The darker rug and sofa provide an anchoring contrast in color. Even though I added ample storage cabinetry, the room appears larger than before. marybaconinteriors.com

Have you ever looked at your stairwell as a design opportunity? This wallpaper was a good way to keep the area light, and coordinate with the new gray walls of the main floor. The vertical trees also help the area feel tall, open, and spacious! marybaconinteriors.com

Another image from a home makeover I just finished designing for a south Minneapolis client. Clean, clear, modern but with some soft textiles for comfort. The foreground is the gathering area around the fireplace. marybaconinteriors.com

This kitchen breakfast nook just got a new custom bench cushion and new pillows I designed. Some happy colors to greet the client first thing in the morning. marybaconinteriors.com

A design makeover I just did for a south Minneapolis client. The sunroom is now more open, sunny and inviting. I kept it simple but added some needed softness, lighting, and color. marybaconinteriors.com

Before and after........notice the change in where your eye travels throughout this space. It's taller and more open now, with a better traffic pattern. Contact marybaconinteriors.com for your own space transformation!

A home I have been working on in St. Paul is finished! The client fosters cats in addition to having some of her own, so kitty-proof design was paramount. There are several important elements in this design to accomplish that goal. Contact me for your own personal design! marybaconinteriors.com
