Timber Bay Home & Garden is SHUTTING DOWN :(
Hello dearest followers,
I'm writing you with a heavy heart. I've so much enjoyed seeing the happiness my creations have brought people throughout the years. Many factors have led to my decision to shut down. The main one is that copper is in short supply. And with the popularity of electric vehicles rising I don't see my chances of obtaining copper in the future to be that great (or the cost will be beyond what you, the customer, is willing to pay). From a supply chain point, my creations are always going to be at the bottom of the totem pole when it comes to distribution priority. Also, I hate to say it, but, I'm getting older. I know. I know! It's hard to believe, but my body is telling me that I can't do this much longer. Even though I've been working to automate a lot of the physical processes, I've come to realize that it is going to take a lot more time and resources than I am willing to put in at this point in my life. When my husband and I started Timber Bay, we decided to never go into debt for it. And we haven't. So, it's time to hang up my cast stone trowel, put away my soldering iron, and unplug my kilns.
I want to thank all of you for your support beginning so many, many years ago.
Sincerely,
Lisa M. Fida
