Bobby Martin (Mvskoke) will be back for another year at Mvskoke Art Market. Bobby is a full-time artist, curator, and consultant working from his Martin Mountain Studio near West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma. Deeply influenced by his Native heritage, his work explores memory and history through historic family photographs, maps, tribal language passages, and documents tied to his Mvskoke ancestry.

Check out Bobby's work on April 18th and 19th at River Spirit Casino Resort.

Greetings friends and family. I’m totally bummed to have to announce that I’m having to bail on the Cherokee Art Market this weekend because of a painful lower back issue that’s *literally* been a
real pain in my butt for the last couple of weeks. Although now we now know what the cause is and can hopefully get back in action with meds and PT, with surgery as a last option.

Unfortunately that means I can’t make one of my favorite weekends of the whole year! 😭😭 I will so miss seeing all my artist colleagues and all the friends and family that come by to visit. Much success and good times to those at CAM, I’ll be cheering you on from the sidelines this time around!

This has been a tough health year, although our Creator has healed and protected every step of the way! Blessings to you all!!

Had a great museum day in Tulsa yesterday with the John Brown University JBU Visual Arts Department Intro to Printmaking class. Our good friends Philbrook Museum of Art and Gilcrease Museum gave us an up-close look at an amazing collection of prints. Always great to see my museum buddies Tom Young, Susan Green, Christina Burke and Laura Fry, thanks for the behind the scenes look at your incredible collections!
