Please help us welcome Nate Hall of Lincoln, Nebraska back to the 2026 Oregon Divisional Chainsaw Carving Championship!

Nate of 3 Timber Studio LLC has been carving professionally since 2017 and has quickly built a reputation for detailed, imaginative work and strong competition performances across the country — including multiple podium finishes and a People’s Choice award last year.

Before becoming a full-time chainsaw artist, Nate spent more than 20 years working in advertising and design as an award-winning creative director, illustrator, photographer, animator, and digital artist. Today, he brings that creative background into every sculpture he creates, specializing in wildlife, fantasy compositions, nautical themes, and other unique carving challenges.

Nate says ODCCC is one of the premier carving competitions in the world, and after previously competing in Reedsport, he’s excited for another opportunity to carve alongside some of the very best artists in the industry.
