A Letter From Our Founder

A new chapter begins.

For some time, I have carried a vision for what Coppermill could become. It wasn’t something I wanted to force or rush. It has unfolded slowly and organically through more than a decade of creating, collecting, designing, learning and changing. Today, I finally feel ready to follow that vision. And it begins here.

Coppermill Kitchen is becoming Coppermill & Co.

This new name and mark represent much more to me than a new logo. It represents an evolution of the company I started all those years ago and, in many ways, a return to its roots.

When I began, it was from a love of beautiful old things. Objects with history, made with intention and meant to endure. I loved the idea of pieces passing through hands, homes, families and generations. That feeling was the beginning of everything.

Over the years, as the business grew, I began to realize that my vision for Coppermill was bigger than a kitchen. I kept feeling a pull back toward what inspired me in the first place: beauty, history, craftsmanship, story and heirlooms. Coppermill & Co. gives me the space to follow that inspiration wherever it leads.

This chapter also comes after one of the most difficult years I have experienced as a business owner. Last year’s tariffs fundamentally changed the way I had been operating and forced me to make difficult decisions about what came next. But we are here. Coppermill is here. And I am still here.

Rather than simply rebuilding what was, I have chosen to build what I believe comes next. I’m returning to my instincts, to what I love and to the reason I began while allowing Coppermill to become something new.

To every person who has purchased a piece, followed our story, carried us in your shop, shared our work or simply continued to be here thank you. There is so much I cannot wait to share with you in the months ahead. New collections, new offerings and some very special things I have been quietly dreaming about and working toward.

Welcome to Coppermill & Co. This is only the beginning.

With gratitude,
Beth Ann
Founder & Designer

Some of my favorite summer memories have never been the big celebrations.

They’re the afternoons when someone says, “Why don’t you stay a little longer?”

Lunch slowly becomes cocktails. Cocktails become dinner. The children disappear into the pool while everyone else lingers around the table, talking about everything and nothing. Candles are lit as the sun begins to set, and the copper that glowed in the afternoon begins reflecting the flicker of the evening light.

That’s what I’ve always loved most about copper. It isn’t just something you place on the table it becomes part of the atmosphere. Throughout the day it gathers the colors around it: the green of the trees, the flowers from the garden, the lemons waiting to be sliced, and the warmth of the setting sun.

When I first started Copper Mill, there were only a handful of pieces. Over the years, the collection has grown alongside these kinds of gatherings. Today there are bowls to pass around the table, trays for sharing, pitchers overflowing with flowers, coupe glasses raised for a toast, and candlesticks that stay lit long after dessert.

My hope has always been that these pieces do more than serve a meal. They inspire us to gather, to linger a little longer, and to create memories worth passing down.

A heartfelt thank you to the incredibly talented Suze of Suze Morrison | Food | Lifestyle | Video for creating and capturing this beautiful summer story.

And to Kerry Hayes Brady for the breathtaking garden-grown flowers that brought every table to life.

Before copper finds its place in your home, it begins here.

In the warmth of the flame, beneath the careful strike of a hammer, and in the hands of skilled craftspeople, raw copper is slowly transformed.

Every curve is shaped with intention. Every hammered detail becomes part of its character. And every finished piece carries the story of the work that brought it to life.

What begins in the workshop is made to live on bringing warmth to your kitchen, beauty to your table, and becoming part of the memories still waiting to be made.

Crafted by hand. Made to last. Created to become part of your story.

Beautiful things were never meant to stay on a shelf.

The most meaningful pieces become part of everyday lifethe meals prepared slowly, the tables gathered around, and the quiet moments that turn into lasting memories.

Crafted with timeless beauty and lasting function, Coppermill copperware is made to be used, enjoyed, and lived with. Because the pieces that carry the most meaning are often the ones that become part of your story.

A simple tip: When your copper needs a quick refresh, rub it with half a fresh lemon, rinse with warm water, and dry thoroughly to restore its natural glow. ✨

A final note: This beloved sauté pan is being retired from our collection. Once the remaining pieces are gone, it will become part of our archive and will not be made again.

With the storm outside and the kettle gently steaming, this is the kind of slow living I always come back to — taking a pause, pouring a cup of tea, and letting the world feel softer for a few minutes.

This moment was brought to life so beautifully by , whose eye for intention and atmosphere makes my copper teapot and tea strainer feel exactly how they’re meant to be used — quietly, thoughtfully, and with heart.

If this feels like your kind of moment too, I’d love for you to save it, share it, or repost it for someone who needs a little calm today.
And if you love slow, heirloom living like this, follow along — there’s so much more coming.
