Wow it’s hard to believe it’s been 3 years already. It’s been a lot of ups and downs. Edit brain fart this morning. This is what happens when you get up at 3:45 am and can’t fall back to sleep.
So I know I haven’t been posting too much. The reason for the lack of posting is I’ve been debating on what the future of my company will be. With rising costs of certain supplies, I’m giving up making lanterns. I still have a decent amount on hand but once they’re gone that’s it. I would really have to raise my prices on them to make a profit. I just don’t want to do that. I probably made close to 8,000 lanterns over the last 4 years I just can’t justify the time I put in for so little pay out. I still have about 400 on hand at the moment.
I’m gonna keep my Etsy shop open til the end of the year. After that I’m not sure if I’m gonna find another platform to sell on or create my own website. Etsy service fees are going up and the customer service for sellers is lacking.
Next I’m hoping to eventually utilize all the supplies I have on hand to make signs and that to sell. I’ve been pushing that to the back burner because of lantern sales. Some new items coming soon!
I’m also trying to minimize what I have on hand for shirts. So if you want a shirt and I have it on hand in the size and style you like. It is only $10 right now.
I have my goals and objectives down and know where I want to go. I just need to get through some stuff to get there. I know I will eventually get there!
