There’s a certain time of day when everything in the barn seems to glow a little differently. 🤎

The last of the afternoon sun slips through the windows, catching the worn edges, old paint + all those lovely imperfections that make these pieces what they are.

For a few fleeting moments, everything feels a little softer, a little warmer, and somehow even more special.

Not all curves are created equal. 🤎

There’s something about the gentle movement of a serpentine front that makes an otherwise simple chest of drawers feel like a work of art.

Carved from oak more than 175 years ago, this Danish beauty has all the things we love. A pale, timeworn surface, beautifully shaped drawer fronts, original-looking hardware + just enough ornamentation to let the craftsmanship speak for itself.

Substantial without feeling heavy. Sculptural without trying too hard.

And proof that even the most practical furniture can be anything but ordinary.

A little color. A lot of character. 🤎

Faded blues, weathered greens, warm wood tones + the occasional glint of gold.

A mix of Swedish, Danish + French antiques, layered with old paintings, gilded mirrors, worn shutters + a tallcase clock that needs very little introduction.

Nothing too polished. Nothing too precious.

Just the kind of understated color and timeworn texture that makes a room feel sophisticated without ever feeling formal.

Because the best spaces aren’t simply meant to be admired. They’re meant to be lived in.

And around here? We call this the room with color. 😂🤎

Weathered wood, old glass bottles, rustic work tables, architectural fragments + a few unexpected finds tucked in for good measure.

There’s something about mixing textures, materials + objects that weren’t necessarily meant to live together.

The contrast of rough wood against delicate glass. The softness of woven baskets alongside hardworking antiques. Pieces with entirely different histories finding themselves in the same room.

Nothing too perfect. Nothing too precious.

Just a space that feels layered, lived-in + full of things worth looking at twice.

And that’s always been our favorite kind of room. 🤎

A little contrast. A lot of character. 🤎

Warm wood tones against worn black paint. The softness of aged paper, handwritten notes + well-loved books. Little remnants of another time tucked among furniture that has already lived a few lives of its own.

There’s something about mixing these elements that just works.

Nothing too matched. Nothing too polished. Just layers of texture, history + the occasional unexpected detail that makes you look a little closer.

Because sometimes it’s the smallest things that give a room the most personality.

What a way to kick off another Round Top season! 🤎

Opening day was everything we hoped it would be and more. Familiar faces, new friends, wonderful conversations + so much love for the old things we love to share.

To everyone who came through our doors, whether to shop, say hello or simply wander for a while, thank you. Your enthusiasm and continued support mean more to us than you know.

And now, a little tour of one of our favorite spaces in the barn.

A mix of all the things we love most. Architectural fragments, rough-hewn tables, weathered concrete + the warmth of old wood. Layers of zinc and iron softened by woven baskets, greenery + the wonderful imperfections that come with age.

Nothing too precious. Nothing too perfect. Just an interesting mix of materials, textures + pieces with stories to tell.

A little bit of everything. And somehow, it all belongs together. 🤎

Two more sleeps. And approximately a million things left to do. 😂

𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁, The finishing touches are coming together, the barn is filling up, and we’re counting down the hours until we get to open those doors and welcome you back.

Months of sourcing, planning, packing + preparing all come down to these next couple of days.

And as much as we love the hunt, there’s nothing quite like seeing it all come together and sharing it with you.

We can’t wait to see familiar faces, meet new ones + kick off another wonderful season at our little white barn.
