We are a full service design and fabrication studio specializing in award-winning hand-made tiles and commissioned glass and metal art for gardens and interiors. Collaboration, discussion and exchange of ideas are intrinsic to our mode of working. Working hand-in-hand with home owners, designers, architects and project managers, we explore all facets of a project. The resulting works speak harmoniously to the architectural space and those who use it. We strive for a synthesis of imagination, practicality, beauty and meaning. Our work is found in homes, businesses, schools, churches, historic buildings and public spaces.

I published a book of 40 years of art glass that I've made for churches and other buildings that I consider to be sacred spaces.
The book is informal, meant to convey the process and thoughts that went into each project. If you would like to take a look, please contact me at susan@susanwagnerdesigns and I can send you a PDF file of the book.

This year has been filled with new directions.
One of the most challenging was designing an outdoor lighted sculpture for two wonderful, longtime clients in Menlo Park.
It involved learning about cutting edge possibilities of LED lights as well as becoming comfortable with the more traditional methods of slumping glass to make the green sconces nestled in the bronze branch-like arms.
I worked with an incredible team to put the piece together. We installed it last week.
