I’ve known Brooklynn Amodt since freshman year—back when life felt bigger than we were and the future was just a blurry idea waiting to come into focus. And somehow, through every season, every version of us, she’s stayed one of the most constant, beautiful parts of my life.

Watching her step into motherhood feels like witnessing something sacred. The same girl who once shared hallways and laughter with me is now creating a whole world for her son—a world filled with warmth, strength, and a kind of love that runs deep and steady.

Today was more than a baby shower. It was a room filled with people who already love Tobias so much, people who are ready to surround him, guide him, and celebrate every little piece of who he becomes. And even though Ethan couldn’t be here today, his presence is still woven into every part of this story—the quiet strength, the love they’ve built together, the life they’ve created.

Tobias, you are already so loved beyond words. You have a village waiting for you, a family that has been built with intention, and parents who will give you the kind of love people write stories about.

And Brooklynn… I am so proud of you. So endlessly proud of the woman you’ve become and the mother you’re about to be. Thank you for letting me not only witness this chapter, but capture it. 🤍
