I have a bachelor’s degree in business management and a
masters degree in education. The past few years, I have thoroughly enjoyed substitute teaching for preschool through senior high in various school districts - most recently subbing the entire year as the art teacher at St. Pius X school, working with K thru 8th graders. I learned to sew in the 7th grade and spent every babysitting dollar (ea

rning $.50/hr back then) on patterns and fabrics, making most of my own clothing. Although I have not been so ambitions since my children were small, I have never lost the craving to create my own clothes and home decorating items. Three years ago I fulfilled my dream of starting a professional photography
business providing portrait sessions and
doing real estate photography. Starting my own series of sewing classes has been another dream...so I have decided to toss dandelions to the wind and just DO IT! I hope it is something your child would enjoy. Don’t hesitate to contact me if you have questions. GOD BLESS!

Fun project in the sewing studio this week. Large durable utility bag made from red/white stripe outdoor tarp material with denim accents. Large top zipper inlay and front zipper pocket. I love sewing along side my clients as they work. They get to see my successes and my failures which helps them learn how to trouble shoot.
