How about a little Makeover on this beautiful Sunday!

This client recently moved into this home and was ready to feel settled after lots of moving around.

The biggest issue they had was trying to make the house feel comfortable with all of the tile flooring. They do plan to change the floors, but wanted to get by for a while before they tackle it.

Our first stop was Turners Furniture to select new anchor pieces to make a better layout and flow. I also brought in some additional furniture and accessories to help finish the look.

I e worked on several Living Rooms that are full of walkways and this one is no exception. If you notice, there are not many parts of the room that are able to be centered, but that doesn’t mean the room has to feel off.

I pulled one sofa intentionally off center from the wall to make it match the other sofa. By using asymmetry, I was able to create symmetry in the room.

To put it mildly, my client was overjoyed with the end result and that makes me so happy because that is the ultimate goal!

I’ve included the Before pictures at the end, so let me know what you think too!

This one is on a similar timeline with my personal home and both are getting close!

We’re still on Fall Break at my house, but it has been the BUSIEST week!!! Working at my personal home AND lots of good designing!

I basically packed a whole week into yesterday. I completed an Install, met at 2 different locations for Appointments and then hung some beautiful custom draperies.

Next year during the Break I should be resting, but this year is all about getting things done!

I have made it home safely and feel blessed to have had a great day trip to Senoia. I hung several different things and brought a few new items to help complete this gorgeous home!

Now I’m praying that Isaias weakens and that everyone in the path are safe. 🙏

Working on older homes is so rewarding because it’s bringing life back to a piece of history.
