The sheet vinyl at Community Options had been damaged due to the type of chairs used, dragging, and mostly because the sheet vinyl was installed over old carpet adhesive.

Thanks to a material donation from our friends at TEC Specialty Products we were able to replace the vinyl, remove the old adhesive, and pour a self leveler that would also be the finished surface.

This provided a flatter surface for the table and chairs in addition to a hard, easy to clean surface. And if they ever want to install a new floor, they'll have a smooth, durable surface onto which install whatever flooring they want.

Congratulations to Mobility Plus Rehabilitation- Valley City on their new space and don't miss their open house on June 23rd @ 5pm.

And a huge thank you for trusting us with the custom logo inlay in their lobby. It took a while to get the right combination of different blue tones, in addition to the right adhesive and sealer selection, and finally Rafael and Senior spent a weekend cutting out a rough draft before cutting the final product in the field.

What an absolute privilege to get to figure out and execute a project like this, especially in the context of increasing automation and standardized design options, getting to do this for another Valley City business is as real as it gets.

We opted to use rolled vinyl in our storage room over vinyl planks or vinyl tiles. By mixing a few individual, contrasting colors, and arranging them in a pattern, we were able to create a design with variation out of colors that themselves had very little variation.

There are several features that add to product costs, such as the quality of the images, durability, ease of installation, and product availability. Sheet vinyl isn't necessarily DIY friendly, especially when it's heat welded as seen in these photos.

However, by opting to use remnant rolls with no rich visuals, we were able to get a heavy commercial rated sheet vinyl and play around with the different colors.

Often, we find that the limits imposed by budgets can be overcome by the near boundlessness of creativity and client flexibility.

We were proud to partner with Bulldog Contracting on this remodel project in Bismarck, North Dakota.

This project included drywall repair, painting, and new flooring throughout the main areas. The original laminate had started to buckle and show signs of topical moisture damage, so we helped the client select Cali Floors Aged Hickory — a waterproof option that brightened up the space while still fitting their budget.

Because the project involved multiple phases, we were able to help streamline the process by removing the old carpet and flooring, cleaning up dust with our HEPA vacuum, completing the drywall repairs, priming, painting, and then moving right into the flooring installation.

By coordinating the work under one plan, we helped reduce what could have required three or four separate trades and a two-week timeline down to just three days.

This unit had water damage that required us to remove the existing laminate and start fresh. After proper prep, we installed new flooring with added protection to help prevent future issues.

We used a liquid moisture v***r barrier and followed it with a 6 mil poly layer before installing the new floor, giving this space an extra level of defense from the ground up.

When it comes to water damage, it is not just about replacing the floor, it is about making sure it is protected for the long haul. 💪

We've had the privilege of working in Grand Forks on the remodel for installing their Shaw carpet tile and glue down LVP.

We've spent more time prepping the floors than installing the actual floors, and the end result is most definitely worth it. No transitions between the different types of flooring and no need to wax the new floors unlike the preexisting VCT.

Working in Grand Forks also means we get to eat at Chicago Burritos 😅
