We are setting up this evening in preparation for Frankfort Fall Festival which starts tomorrow and goes through Monday. We are in the same booth spaces as the last two years. We’re in the Fra-Milco lot booths F101 & 102. It’s going to be a BEAUTIFUL weekend so be sure to come out and see us. There are tons of great vendors with incredible food and fun.

It is Sept 1st tomorrow and WE ARE READY! We have a veritable cornucopia of pumpkins blown for this year. We’ve been at it since June and here we are with tons of new color combinations and of course plenty of the old favorites as well. We are ready for Frankfort Fall Festival this weekend followed by our home town Valparaiso Events popcorn festival the following weekend. We are super excited that Fall is finally upon us.

Here’s a little preview of some of the Fall themed glass we’ll have available at Frankfort Fall Festival and, of course, our home town Popcorn Fest over the next couple weeks. Well friends this is day 4 without power at HSV. We consider ourselves blessed we didn’t suffer any damage. The furnace has been burning thanks to generator power. Had we not had it, we’d have lost our pot due to rapid cooling of a full 200 lbs of glass. We were lucky beyond words. Thanks to all of our friends and neighbors who have looked in on us and we are keeping everyone in our thoughts as our community continues to recover.

This juried exhibition brings together more than sixty works spanning a wide range of media, reflecting the diversity of artistic voices that make up our contemporary cultural landscape. Selected by jurors Elsa Munoz and William Blake, the exhibition embraces the salon tradition of multiplicity and dialogue, presenting artworks that engage its theme from vastly different perspectives. Some artists offer sweeping political statements that confront the nation’s past, present, and future, while others turn inward, creating intimate vignettes of family, community, memory, and everyday life. Together, these works reveal that there is no singular vision of America, only a constellation of experiences, a democratic sprawl.
