Hi friends. A little update in regards to the fires in LA: currently, my apartment is safe. However, we are only a couple blocks from one of the evacuation zones at the moment. I left with my dog on Wednesday to escape the toxic air, but unfortunately I was not able to bring any of the with me. I am holding out every hope and prayer that they, along with my neighborhood, stay safe. 🙏

Friends, sadly Shadow did not advance to the semifinals of America’s Favorite Pet. But in making it into the quarterfinals, he was in the top 1% of contestants! Thank you so much to everyone who donated towards Shadow, please know your donations all go towards a great cause, so your votes were not wasted! This experience has only proved what I already knew to be true: Shadow is the most lovable dog around. 💜

Friends! Today is 2-for-1 voting for Shadow! He has until tomorrow evening to get to first in order to move on to the semifinals.

Remember to go and vote for him, and if you plan to donate (thank you, thank you) wait until they do another 2-for-1 round to double the impact! Thanks again for all of your support over this past month. This has transformed from something I entered Shadow into on a whim into such a wonderful reminder of how much he is loved! Whether he moves on or not, I will always be grateful.
