Bring your projects for drop in open craft time. Work on 5x5 knit or crochet squares for a community art project. Yarn and mocktails provided.

We’re going to see The Sheep Detective on Thursday, May 21st at 7:15 PM, and yes, the lights will be dimmed so you can still see your stitches.

Spring is the perfect time to learn a new skill! Freshen up with Hook & Needle in May 🌼

We teach beginner knit and crochet at the beginning of every month, and again mid-month, and we always have a sprinkling of classes to build on your skills or introduce you to another fiber art.

We're really excited about:
- Crochet Granny Squares: unlock your crochet when you learn how to make granny squares. These are endlessly customizable and so much fun!

- Fixing Cable Mistakes: Cables are surprisingly easy to learn, but a little more difficult to master, especially when you make a mistake! Unwind the mystery with cable master Makenzie Alvarez.

- Crochet Amigurumi Octopus - These cuties are the perfect introduction to amigurimi. Learn these fundamental skills to make all kinds of little animals.

Crafting After Dark begins tonight! 🌙

Join us Friday, May 1st from 6–9pm for the first edition of Crafting After Dark, our new monthly evening craft night at Hook & Needle.

Think open craft, but with a little extra atmosphere.

This month’s theme is Enchanted Garden, so bring your current project, wear your favorite enchanted makes if you feel inspired, and settle in for a cozy evening of making and community after shop hours.

We’ll also be launching Stitch Every Day in May, our gentle month-long challenge to make a little time for your craft each day. Pick up a tracker at the shop, stitch a little every day in May, and bring your completed tracker back at the end of the month to receive a special stitch marker.

No registration required. Just bring your project and come hang out.
