It's hot. REALLY hot...

Yes. I know some of you have it worse but I'm in the PNW and I'm melting.

I have some decluttering to do and I didn't get "dolled up" today. But you know what?

I actually felt pretty. I looked at my face and I felt happy with what I saw. I didn't pick at any flaws.

Wow. That's big.

I chose not to care for my skin for most of my life. I was taking advantage of my momma's great Latina genes she gave me.. But this year I started taking the time to care for me and I am realizing that it isn't only changing my skin. It's changing how I feel about myself. I feel less guilty about taking the time to feel good about by appearance or how my skin feels.

And that makes it all worth it.

Ever get mascara on your eyelid?
Your instinct is to wipe it off quickly but that usually makes it smear...
Or mess up the rest of your makeup!
Don't fret.
Finish what you're doing.
Let it dry...
Then take a clean, dry mascara wand and flake it off!

I personally LOVE garlic but I know not everyone else feels the same.

When a recipe calls for garlic I NEVER use the amount it states.. Always extra!

Every year I am torn on what kind of St. Patrick's day attire I should get. I am not Irish so all of the "kiss me, I'm Irish" ones seem silly to me. But this year I found THESE! Not only do they have green on them... but they have a cactus on them!
How perfect is that? I just love silly socks!
