Stay safe out there! Always buckle up 🙂
Donating 100 bees and a make shift bee house this morning. Doesn’t have to be fancy and expensive to work. I’ve used giant cheeee ball containers and metal #10 food cans. Just need something big enough for the reeds to fit into and will stay dry.
I carefully heated up a screw driver about the diameter of a pencil to melt a hole in the lid for the bees to come and go. For this container I also added a piece of cardboard and rubber band to keep the reeds away from the rim and accessible. I also sell my bees in a tiny cardboard container with a punched out hole. Great for just taping to the bottom of a house that doesn’t have a spot for your babies.
Let me know if you have any questions or need help making a house. These are the last few days I will be able to offer cocoons until next year.
