Each Yellow Leaf Hammocks is 100% Handwoven and designed for comfort, strength and outdoor performance. Our breezy hammocks and hanging chairs are constructed using special weaves to cradle you weightlessly and let you nap for hours. It takes up to a week to weave each intricate Yellow Leaf Hammock - and you can feel the difference! The performance yarn we use to create each hammock is weathersafe

and fade-proof. You can leave your hammock outdoors all season without worrying about rain or sunshine damaging it! (We call that a "lazy-proof" hammock). Our hammocks have been featured by Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, Vogue, Coastal Living and Sunset magazine. We have partnered with brands like TOMS, Kate Spade and SXSW to spread hammock love around the globe! We have also been named a "Best for the World" B Corporation! The motivation behind our company is simple: by creating and selling the most awesome hammocks on earth, we create sustainable weaving jobs in marginalized communities. Every Yellow Leaf hammock is handwoven by artisan mothers, women preserving generational weaving traditions while creating flexible work that meaningfully supports their families.

Each hammock takes days to weave.
Over 150,000 loops of yarn, woven entirely by hand.

Through this work, incomes for our artisan partners have increased by over 650%, more than 10,000 lives across three communities have been impacted, and 100% of our weavers’ children attend school instead of working in fields.
