This all started with my mom needing me to clean out her Santa Monica Apartment as she was moving to New York and couldn't take it all with her.... SO I took it all to a new antique mall named Stars Antique Market....I was single and had 2 small children at the time so I could not really buy and sell more as this was my second job. At the time catering paid the bills and got me through some rough times. With too much on my plate (hahahah) I had to quit the antiques, not knowing if and when I could ever get back to that creative world.

New husband and a baby later...

My husband Kevin Lennon was/is a contractor and we were building our dream home...
Ha, here I am again... Let the fun begin.....
Traveling across the country in search of the perfect things for my new home...... and everybody else's... hahahaha

I love to recreate what was old and nobody wanted, into something incredible or something you never thought of doing... Treasures were everywhere......not just out and about, they were everywhere at my house... yikes....
Talking to a friend I met in Texas (but he was from LA) Tim McGaughey, I told him how much stuff I had to sell, He said come down to Country Roads Antiques & Gardens and get a space...... DONE....I loved it.....

But, I still needed more.......

April 2011 H.BLeu Antiques retail store became a reality.... and it was only a block from my house.... Duh... who wouldn't take the space?
During the last 7 years.... I have bought, sold or repurposed lots of stuff, Staged homes and retail spaces, Interior designed and decorated commercial and residential, flipped homes, Production designed, set designed, set dressed. I have been published in a few magazines and books. I was even had a segment on TV.......Blah Blah Blah....
The later of all of that is where I am now.
SOOOOOO.......
I am sad to say that I am closing the "RETAIL" part of my store.
Which means ......
I have LOTS of furniture, lights, rusty stuff, plants, smalls, books, jewelry cases and lots of my would be recreations (electrical and furniture) projects for sale.

For all of you that like to rent on AIR B&B PLEASE READ:

Air B&B has a new default FILTER on the site when you are searching for a place to rent...
Its called "INSTANT BOOK" you don't know that the filter is on when you are searching, but it is.....

This means for all the HOSTS that are NOT signed up for the INSTANT BOOKING, will not come in your search..... "unless you take OFF the default setting"

This is an unfair practice on AIR B&B....
There is no back and forth with the inquiring guest, so if HOSTS would like to know more about their guests and vice versa it's not an option ... I get questions about my unit i.e. "How is your outdoor shower" "Do you have AC" "is there wheelchair access"... blah blah blah....
Also..... I get people that aren't interested in staying in my unit, they want to rent it for a photo shoot, which means lots and lots of people...... the price is not the same for this, nor is the insurance coverage...
This is just one example of why I DO NOT WANT TO INSTANT BOOK.....
PLEASE PASS THIS AROUND, AS AIR B&B NEEDS TO CHANGE THIS POLICY OR
