There's a version of "beautiful" that feels completely inhabitable, and a version that makes you want to kick your shoes off and stay.

The difference is almost always warmth. Not a color or a material specifically, but a quality: the layering, the texture, the feel that someone made real decisions about what they wanted to feel inside this space every single day.

A perfect home is something you can see. A warm home is something you feel, usually within the first few seconds. :)

In this bathroom, the living wall is the obvious moment, and it deserves to be. It gives the bathroom energy without taking away from the calm.

The part of a project that catches people most off guard has nothing to do with design. It's the calendar.

Custom upholstery, specialty tile, certain lighting, wallpaper
These aren’t things you can order once the project is underway and expect them to arrive on time.

The sourcing has to start early, sometimes months before a single wall is painted, or the schedule starts working against you.

Knowing the order of operations is one of the most practical things a designer brings to a project.

The question we hear most often isn't "what should this look like." It's "where do I even start."

Most people come to a project with a full folder of inspiration and zero idea how to sequence it into an actual room. That part, the order of decisions, is where the process either works or falls apart.
