Happy Tuesday friends!

It's been awhile since you've seen my page pop up on your news feed but I wanted to share some little projects I've been working on. As you all know I'm not currently doing resin projects but I'm diving back into one of my original hobbies, crocheting!

I taught myself to crochet through videos and Pinterest before Ms. Red was even born. One of my favorite things to make are baby loveys and toys.

I would love to share with you a piece that I started over two years ago that was going to be for our angel Natalie. When the unfortunate event of her passing happened, I put it away in the closet unfinished. How could I finish something that wasn't going to be used by her? Well now that we have baby brother coming in November, I decided I wanted him to have something of hers.

I'm by no means a professional, just a crafter who enjoys the satisfaction of accomplishing new projects. This is a sensory block toy that has a different texture on all sides. Filled with stuffing, it's soft enough for him to cuddle 💙

Baby Boy Perdue is due in November!

I started Red Ash after the passing of our sweet Natalie and have had the opportunity to create many beautiful keepsakes for others in hopes it would bring closure to families. Along this journey I had told myself I would close this chapter once we were expecting again. I have loved this craft as not only a hobby but a way to find closure and cope with my own grief. I have come a long way and am excited and nervous to see what this next chapter brings.

I may end up picking my crochet hooks and knitting needles back up at some point so I won't be removing this page ☺️
