What you’ll do:
- The Quality Control Technician is an integral part of the team responsible for both quality control of incoming inventory and outgoing products. This position carries out appropriate tests and inspections to confirm product and operations are performing within the compliance of NWKW’s quality standards.
- Perform incoming process inspection and lot acceptance on vendor parts.
- Inspect finished products by confirming specifications, returning products for re-work, and confirming re-work.
- Identify problems regarding the quality of the products and make recommendations to the Production Manager and Supply Chain Manager.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarize re-work and waste and input data into the quality database.
- Identify and note non-conformance or unexpected outcomes.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
- Manage, handle and dispose of quarantined materials in a timely manner.
