So today I worked in the shop from 8:30am to 3:30pm making some new birdhouses. Black one was my prototype. Got ten completely finished! I’m proud of myself. It was a lot! So now what colors do you suggest for these?!!

These are probably my most favorite things I have made in a long time! I have been seeing a form of these hymn boards online for a while and decided to try my hand at making them. Changed them up and made my own design. Made from 3/4” pine and larger than most at 14”x21”. Letters/Numbers are printed and decoupaged onto wood so not flimsy. Comes in painted off-white or stained and whitewashed. Also with a complete set of numbers 0-9 and HYMNS letters. $69.

Making and assembling Lazy Susan’s was bitter sweet today. First time doing these alone. John was the pro at installing the hardware and gluing on the cork bases. Miss him every day but I can do it! Made me smile thinking of him and great memories. ❤️
