In honor of the Watermelon Festival, I’m unleashing WATERMELON MADNESS in the shop today. Candles, melts, and enough juicy-sweet goodness to make you question whether you should eat them (please don’t… but like… I get it). They smell pretty darn good. Like “did someone just crack open a fresh melon or is that my house being adorable?” good. Swing by and snag yours before I end up keeping them all for myself.

✨ Friendly Reminder Before You Panic:
Saturday is my last day as a Brick & Mortar. Yes, the building will stop being my candle kingdom… but I’m not disappearing. I’ll still be online at lavenderandmist.com, still popping up at vendor events like a glittery ninja, and still posting on Facebook so you know exactly where I materialize next.

It’ll take me a few weeks to get my home setup running again, so if you need your favorite scents, your emergency melts, your “I can’t deal with life unless my house smells like lavender” stash, come stock up now.

Today hits with that sweet‑and‑salty emotional combo. It’s Day 1 of my final three days as a brick‑and‑mortar shop. I’m basically laughing, crying, and aggressively sniffing candles all at once.

And because the universe has a sense of humor, this weekend is the Watermelon Festival… so of course I’m rolling out the melon magic. I’m literally putting the finishing touches on the Watermelon goodies today, trying not to eat them even though they smell like summer in a jar.

To all my Lavender & Mist friends: thank you, from the bottom of my heart!

You’ve supported this little scent shop through every season, every chaotic restock, every “I accidentally made a new fragrance again,” and every moment in between. You turned Lavender & Mist into more than a storefront. You made it a community, a cozy corner of Main Street filled with laughter, kindness, and the best customers a person could ever hope for.

With a bittersweet heart, I need to share that our brick‑and‑mortar store will be closing. Our last day open will be Saturday August 8th. This decision wasn’t easy, and trust me, I tried bribing the universe with candles, melts, AND body spray… but sometimes life nudges us into a new chapter.

But hear me loud and clear: Lavender & Mist is NOT disappearing.
We’re just changing shape.

We’ll still be on Facebook, collaborating with local businesses, jumping into fundraisers, and popping up at Farmer’s Markets and Vendor Events, basically anywhere I can set up a table and make the air smell better. You’ll still see us, still smell us, still laugh with us… just in new places. Yes, you can still order directly from the website!

Thank you for every visit, every message, every “OMG this smells amazing,” and every moment you chose to be part of this journey. I’m endlessly grateful for you, truly!

Here’s to the next chapter, and to all of you who made this one unforgettable. 💜

It’s another gorgeous day out there! Perfect for snagging some scent‑sational goodies! I’ll be bee‑boppin’ around the shop refilling those empty spots like a chaotic little fragrance gremlin, so make sure you stop in today before I disappear into the back with a label maker and too much caffeine.

We’re closed tomorrow, Saturday August 1st, and reopening Thursday August 6th. So today’s your moment!

We’re here until 5pm, so stroll your fabulous self over to 114 Main St, Vincennes and let your nose have a good time.

Heads up, scent squad - Lavender & Mist is entering its dramatic makeover era! We will be closed Saturday, August 1st to prep for Back‑to‑School and our absolutely bonkers August Blowout Sale. Think of us as going into a chrysalis… except instead of a butterfly, we emerge as a caffeinated retail tornado. We will reopen Thursday, August 6th at 10am, ready to unleash chaos, deals, and delicious smells.

We will still be open tomorrow, Friday July 31st, so come sniff, shop, and stir up trouble while you can.
