Welcome to our recently renovated ground level space off our garage! Before (see attached pic!), the space felt like a basement with just one small window. We added more windows and a glass door which exits to a courtyard currently under construction. We took out a closet and replaced it with a corner built in that functions as my office. We recycled upholstery from our old house for a lounge area for our boys and their friends when they are home…..and what I didn’t show in this video are the twin beds “crash pad” for our boys friends (still working on that!) All the extra light and mirrored areas opened up the space and made it much happier! We also painted the stairway up to the main living area and added a window on the landing….and the old basement feel instantly disappeared! What do you think? Happy weekend, yall!

I just can’t get enough of this ground level bedroom! No windows, no problem!!! Just get an incredibly beautiful large scale wallpaper, and add lots of whites….inviting, refreshing, and no window treatments necessary! And how foot do the stairs leading down to this space look? Fresh!!!! Scalamandré | Luxury Fabrics & Wallcoverings QUADRILLE Mark Gonsenhauser’s Rugs & Carpet Cowtan & Tout
