During this year’s World Cup, we’re spotlighting rugs from around the globe. 🌍

And we’re kicking things off with one that’s especially close to home. A nod to our owner, Mr. Mark Gonsenhauser himself, and his South African roots. 🇿🇦

Straight edges are easy. An inside corner like this? That takes careful measuring, precise cuts, strategic folds, and a whole lot of patience to make the binding lay smooth and clean. 🧞‍♂️

From mapping out the angle to trimming, gluing, sewing, and hand finishing the final fold, every step has to be just right. The goal? A finished edge that looks like it was always meant to be there.

It’s the little details most people never see that make all the difference.
