More than 2 billion people worldwide have no access to waste collection, so their trash ends up in nature, and too often in our oceans. That's why we've partnered with .io.

Through the Clean Kerala project, we fund door-to-door plastic collection along the coast of southern India. Our collection partner, Green Worms Waste Management, works with local women's empowerment groups to create safe, dignified jobs with fair pay.

Since 2023, we've helped recover more than 240,000 lb of plastic, and we're working toward our goal of 264,111 lb. Every pound is tracked and verified by TÜV SÜD.

Firmness is not a fact.

There is no industry test for it. Every rating you have ever read is one person's judgment — at one body weight, on one day, coming off one particular mattress. That is why the same bed gets called medium by one reviewer and medium-firm by the next, and why our own materials sometimes land half a point from theirs.

It also means a 6 genuinely feels like a 5 if you are heavier, and a 7 if you are lighter. Both readings are correct.

So read firmness as a range rather than a number, and give a new mattress the full adjustment period before deciding. The first week is almost never the honest one.
