Got some big news the other day! I had to reread the email to make sure I understood it right.

I’m honored to be named a 2026 KDA Individual Artists Fellow! Beyond grateful for this unrestricted support from KDA and the California Arts Council to continue my creative practice.

Through this fellowship, I plan to bring more art opportunities to youth in the community. Looking forward to the year ahead.

Been testing out some new stepping stones. I wanted to get away from using a stone as a backer and just pour the concrete myself.
So I did some tests with dry pouring and mixing cement.

The first one is a dry pour and it ended up being too fragile around the tile and crumbling.

The second one is cement I mixed and I failed to get the air bubbles out or let enough cement pass through the mesh backing.

So I'll give it another try this weekend. 3rd times the charm!

Today we've got the reveal of a 12x18 print of "Tongue Tied"
This was another test print and I think it came out pretty good. The colors match pretty well and the smaller size looks nice.

I'm planning on doing a giveaway soon for one of these so lemme know in the comments what you think of the edges

Here's how a typical morning goes on a non gym day. Lots to do in order to get in some art time before work cus its 50/50 on if I'll have the energy after work.
Turns out that taking care of the pets definitely ends up being the majority of my morning. Would not change that though! Keeps me active and up early.

What's your morning routine?

So I've been working on a new canvas and I'm starting to think it's not going to work out how I envisioned it. So now I'm trying to decide if I should come back later and rework it again or start over and change the concept.

What do you do when a project isn't working out? Lemme know in the comments.

Forgot to get a good picture before I shipped it off, but here was submission to the 4x4 show.
It was fun to work on this little piece.
0 plan going in just had fun with it.
I did manage to get a scan of it, so I might make some stickers out of it.
