I’m doing it, guys - I’m making my first rug!!!! And I’m doing it from my own bolts vs buying precut jelly rolls 🤡🤡

My wrists only slightly regret that decision… especially making homemade 2.5” batting strips. That was not fun 🤣🤣

I’m SEW excited to see how this one turns out 🤩🤩

My mom is over the moon for her brand‑new Easter table runner, and honestly? Same. The Bunny Trail Treasure has officially hopped off my sewing machine and onto her table, and it’s already claiming “favorite child” status. 💛

This project has a special place in my heart. Hippity-hoppity, appliqué-lovers, gather around! I’m stitching up an Easter surprise for my mom—well, sort of a surprise! She knows all about it, but we’re still putting a little magic into it. This new table runner is hopping onto our table featuring some egg-stra special appliqué shapes. So stay tuned, because this Easter project is about to bloom!

2025 was the year Kitty Queen Quilts stopped tiptoeing and started strutting.
Turns out a sewing machine, a dream, and an irresponsible amount of cat hair can build a whole empire.

This little North Dakota studio (with Minnesota nice sprinkled on top like powdered sugar) had its most pawsitively wild year yet — Star Seller on Etsy, fabric drops that sold faster than hotdish at a family reunion, and a whole litter of quilts that made me say ‘okay girl, you did THAT.’

Thank you for cheering, sharing, shopping, and letting me fill your homes with cozy chaos.
Here’s to 2026: more claws, more color, more creativity, and absolutely zero apologies for the cat hair.
