Betty Barrett and Associates Betty Barrett is an interior designer who grew up in Chile and moved to New York where she worked for Mario Buatta and John Saladino.

She started her own practice in 1980 and has had numerous clients in Chile, Panama, South America, Miami and the tri- state area. Her speciality is creating beauty with color, lighting and space. Having five children of her own she specializes in practical design for familes although she has designed both commnercial and residential spaces as well. Being bi-lingual she has worked with Lady Chaplin

, Adrianne Vittadini, and numerous well known South American clients. She also lived in California with John Saladino for over 10 years and contributed to his famous book "Saladino Villa" which was dedicated to her as well.
