Welp, it was about 1000 degrees at the Night Market Alphabet Soup in Cary Saturday night, but the heat did not slow this crowd down one bit.

Let me tell you about the four images in this post:

The Jesus "OMG YOU GUYS! I NEVER SAID THAT" towel sold out in the first 90 minutes. Gone. Most of y'all didn't even get to see it. (I'm already making more so it'll still ring up just fine on my site. 😜)

Y'all scooped up the Pride hats, but the purple ones were the first to fully disappear, and the ponytail hats were a close second.

And yet another market where the 1900s shirts were wildly popular — I only had two left by the time I packed up. TWO. A handful of you ordered custom shirt colors with the 1900s design so your gift lands exactly right for your person.

And that face you're seeing? That's the exact moment I hit $1K in sales for the event. Had to document it.

Cary, you made the overwhelmingly sweaty event worth it. So. much. fun! 🌈🧵

The part nobody sees: the back-and-forth with a customer to get it exactly right. The digitizing. The test stitches. The “wait, can we try it this way?” And then you iron it out, run it through the machine, and hand-cut every edge. This one is a Father’s Day set! A matching onesie and tee for a new dad and his adventure buddy. 🧵🪡 I daydreamed about how much joy it would bring this new family the entire time I made it. I’m forever grateful for this opportunity to help create memories with y’all.

Apparently Shopify is down. And apparently I want to cry.

Around the World Festival --> What a lovely day we had, y'all!!

I was honored to be selected to represent North America this weekend — which felt like the perfect excuse to bring out the NC pride pieces, USA/Americana goods, Pride items, snarky kitchen towels, and the 1900s tees. (People humor crosses every border, it turns out.)

The crowd was curious, warm, and so much fun to connect with. The food was incredible. I tore up pupusas from Mesas Food Truck and a pistachio popsicle from Frios -- both my second time getting them -- and they both absolutely held up.

If you stopped by and grabbed something this weekend — thank you. You made it worth every setup minute. (Peep the last image for my best sellers of the day! 👀)

Some products just hit different when you’re making them.

This NC flag hat is one of our easiest grab-and-go pieces — khaki with a dark brim, the state flag stitched in the shape of North Carolina. Simple. Clean. The kind of hat that gets compliments while strolling the neighborhood, enjoying a local event, even perusing the hardware store.

But every time I stitch one, I think about my father-in-law. He was a khaki hat guy through and through. Virginia born, Virginia raised — but I like to think he’d make an exception for this one.
