Have you heard of Kinusaiga? We’ve been having so much fun exploring this medium at The Makery this summer!

This beautiful piece was created by one of our talented students. Kinusaiga is a beginner-friendly, Japanese-inspired art form that uses fabric and simple tucking techniques to create beautiful textured artwork. No sewing required!

It’s relaxing, creative, and such a unique craft to try.

Want to give it a try? Join us this **Friday, August 7 from 7–9 PM** for our next Intro to Kinusaiga workshop. We’ll be creating summer landscapes, and no experience is necessary.

Did you know you can rent the Makery? Our flexible space is the perfect place for your homeschool co-op, card group, club meeting, and baby shower.

The Makery rents our beautiful gallery space starting at $30/hour. We can accommodate groups from small meetings to up to 60 guests.

Tables and chairs are included, and you're welcome to bring food or catering. We'd love to host your next gathering.

Exciting, hands-on creative fun has been happening at The Makery this summer—and there’s still time for your child to be part of it! 🎨✨ We've loved creating alongside your children and watching their incredible creativity and talent shine.

We still have a couple of weeks of summer camps left, so there's still time to join the fun!

Next Week: July 27–31We're excited to offer something a little different with our Young Artist Entrepreneur Academy!

This unique camp is designed for kids who love making things and dream of turning their creativity into something more.

Campers will create projects they're excited about while learning the basics of running a creative business, including: Choosing a business name, Designing a logo, Pricing their artwork and handmade creations, Tips and tricks for selling their work with confidence

This camp is a fun way to encourage both creativity and confidence.
