You should check your Rehlko engine oil level every time you plan to mow your lawn, especially if you are operating in dusty or wet conditions which can increase oil contamination. Remember - Kohler Engines is now Rehlko!

Check before starting:Always check the oil level when the engine is cold for the most accurate reading.
Consult your manual:Refer to your mower's owner's manual for the exact oil type and change interval based on your specific engine model.
Oil change frequency:Most recommend changing the oil every 50 hours of operation or at least once per mowing season.
New mowers:For new mowers, consider changing the oil after the first few hours of use.
Signs of needing an oil change:Dark or sludgy oil, unusual engine noises, or decreased performance can indicate the need for an oil change.
