I’ve been gathering special pieces for this collection for months including not one but two French risers, bronzes, a globe de Marie in cloche, a very special painting, tortoise and papier mache/mother of pearl, and an extraordinary set of books on English furniture. This collection includes an Art Nouveau era n**e, an incredible engraving of Jupiter and Callisto, swan vases and brass swan salvage pieces, a miniature painting on vellum in the perfect frame, and an 18th century book with 14 engraved plates.

I’ve been an antique dealer for nearly six years living with a mid 2000s dining room chandelier. I finally found THE ONE, but it was out of budget. My husband surprised me with it for Christmas, and after a meager six months, she if finally up in all of her glory!

Slow design is a good thing. Waiting for that perfect piece brings excitement and joy like nothing else. When I came home last week to this hanging over my table, I burst into tears!! Isn’t she beautiful?!

Tis market season, and I’m thrilled to be bringing our newest antique festival finds tomorrow night. I’ll be joined by the incomparable and at 7:30 PM. This collection includes an antique carved mahogany planter, a miniature portrait painting, an homage to our animal friends with a painted dog trumeau mirror, bronze inkwell and miniature swan. No Southern Gothic collection would be complete without a frame and antiquarian books!

The Elegance Unveiled Collection: French caskets and miniature bronze frames, leather books and the most exquisite needlework from the 18th century, a miniature painting with the perfect gilt and velvet frame, a Sevres inspired Tazza, and salvage alabaster goddesses.
