Happy opened Maple Hill Ceramics in 1981, after retiring from teaching second graders for over two decades. In 2013 Freeman started apprenticing with Happy and Maple Hill Ceramics is once again a fully operational hobby ceramic shop. In addition to the traditional ceramic classes, Freeman offers a variety of drawing, pen and ink, and water color classes. Happy has her certification as a Mayco cera
