Your RainPoint pump is running, but you’re still getting a “Water Shortage” alert?
Here are a few things to check before troubleshooting further:
1. Make sure the pump and tubing are installed correctly.
2. Remove the inlet tube and make sure there’s no water remaining inside the pump or tubing.
3. Run the Water Shortage Calibration in the RainPoint app.
4. Reconnect the water source and test the pump again.
5. If the alert continues, try adjusting the Water Shortage Sensitivity.

Is your RainPoint pump running but no water is coming out? 💧

Before assuming there’s a problem with the pump, try these quick troubleshooting steps:

1. Remove the protective caps from the IN and OUT ports.
2. Prime the pump by adding clean water to the IN port.
3. Check that the valve is installed in the correct flow direction.
4. Make sure the tubing isn’t kinked, blocked, or pinched.

Once everything is set up correctly, your system should be ready to water normally again.

Different parts of the garden need different amounts of water. The sunny side needs more — longer runs, more frequent cycles. The shaded area? Less often, just enough to keep it going. Flower beds and vegetable patches, shrubs and ground covers — each one has its own rhythm.
