Halloween is tomorrow. Then what?

When the spooky stuff comes down this weekend, your porch can still feel like fall. Our premade fall planters are full of hardy mums, ornamental cabbage and kale, celosia, and mini pumpkins. Add a stack of novelty squash by the door, and you're set right through Thanksgiving.

We make every planter ourselves, and you won't find them anywhere else.

Come pick one out this weekend, or give us a call at 516.221.1133. We'll deliver it and set it up for you.

Can we talk about these for a second?

Now that it's finally cooling off, our ornamental cabbage and kale are really coming into their own. Every time the nights get a little colder, the centers get a little brighter. Pretty cool, right?

And they're tough. Frost doesn't faze them, and they'll hang in there on your steps long after the mums are done. We have them in 4½" and 9" pots, so there's a size for every planter and porch. This is the perfect time to get them in the ground or pop a couple in with your mums and pansies.

Come see them in person. Honestly, the photos don't do them justice.

Ever wonder what goes into our signature fall planters?

Most start with a full mum for color. Then we build around it. Celosia and ornamental millet add height. Ornamental peppers bring a bright pop of red and some fun 3D texture. Ornamental cabbage and kale fill in the front and only get better as the nights get colder. A vinca vine softens the edge and spills over the burlap.

You won't find these anywhere else. Every planter is designed and planted right here by our team. They come in several sizes, and flower colors vary. Our smaller burlap pots start at $23.99.

Stop by and pick out your favorite. We're open Monday through Saturday 8 to 6 and Sunday 8 to 5:30.

Ready, Set, Bloom! Our front porch pot is officially ready for fall.

This one is all about texture. We used tall purple celosia Intenz and orange celosia Cockscomb, purple and green ornamental cabbage, and yellow ornamental peppers. Every plant brings something different, and together they really pop. Be sure to tilt your ornamental cabbage toward the street instead of planting it flat, so everyone walking by sees the color.

Here's how to keep it going all season. The celosia brings bold color right now. After the first frost, we'll swap out both celosia varieties for more ornamental cabbage and kale, which only deepen in color as winter sets in.

Everything you see is in stock now. Stop in, and we'll help you create a pot of your own.
