Unlike a layered candle (where different scents are physically separated), fragrance notes in a candle are blended into one cohesive scent experience. The notes refer to how the fragrance unfolds over time as the candle burns:

• 🔝 Top Notes – The first scents you smell when you open the jar or light the candle. These are lighter, fresh, or citrusy notes that fade quickly.

• 💛 Middle Notes (Heart Notes) – These emerge once the candle is burning for a bit. They create the core identity of the fragrance, often floral, fruity, or spicy.
