Ronni Jolles “Painting with paper” is the best way to express what I do. It is the medium itself that causes my work to constantly evolve and continually surprise me.

Paper – in its multitude of colors and textures – is the essence of my work, and subjects come into focus as the paper leads me through the creation of each piece. Whether it’s the cyclical journey of trees or the simple beauty of a clothesline hanging outside a window, using paper delivers a painterly quality with textures that can’t be achieved through paint.

My solo show at the Slayton House in Columbia, Maryland, has 30 originals in all shapes & sizes. It will be coming down next Wednesday, March 25th. Please come take a look so you can really see the textures and dimensionality in person. Open 9am - 4pm, Monday - Friday. Slayton House / 10400 Cross Fox Lane in Columbia, MD.
