The Washington Design Center The Washington Design Center at Franklin Court is conveniently located in the heart of the downtown This is the official page for the Washington Design Center.

We are located in the first 4 floors of the Franklin Court building and have 23 independently owned showrooms as part of the design center. The Washington Design Center at Franklin Court is conveniently located in the heart of the downtown Washington, DC business district at the corner of 14th Street, NW and L Street, NW. Our neighborhood is filled with restaurants, hotels, shopping and business services. The sophisticated and elegant Franklin Court building was designed by the world renowned architectural firm Kohn Pedersen Fox. The Gold LEED building includes a multi level lobby, sweeping staircase, dramatic water elements, and a two-story glass atrium with granite and marble finishes.

Fall Market's Keynote brought two designers to the stage: Nellie Howard Ossie of Mr. & Mrs Howard and Duväl Reynolds of House of Duväl, in conversation about their furniture designs for Sherrill Furniture Brands.

Both collections are on view at AmericanEye at The Washington Design Center

From Mr. & Mrs. Howard (Nellie Howard Ossie): the Sloane King Bed pairs soft blue upholstery with a curved headboard and a woven frame, with the Woody Chest alongside in a light finish.

From House of Duval (Duval Reynolds): office pieces with menswear influence in the woodwork. Look at the ribbed, fluted detail on the file cabinet, structured and still warm.

We are going through all of your photos and videos posted from Fall Market yesterday and are in love! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported all of the amazing events the showrooms put together and a special thank you to our Keynote speakers Nellie Howard Ossi & Duväl Reynolds with moderator Melissa Sanabria. AmericanEye at The Washington Design Center and Sherrill Furniture Brands brought a great panel to the building.
