💜 1 Purple, 3 Blues, 1 Red & 1 White! ❤️🤍💙
Alaska State Fair ribbons!
This year, I was a first-time exhibitor and decided to take a chance and enter five different crochet pieces in five different classes: a blanket/afghan, cardigan, wrap/shawl, baby set, and amigurumi.
And… ALL FIVE are ribbon winners!
That gorgeous blanket, made from a pattern by Jane Crowfoot @ JANIE CROW even brought home a purple ribbon — Division Winner! 💜🏆
I have to admit, I feel both humbled and incredibly honored to have my work recognized alongside so much amazing talent. There are some seriously talented makers in this great state.
And speaking of talent… just look at that gorgeous lace shawl made by a 15-year-old! 😳👏🏻 Absolutely WOW. The talent and dedication of some of these young exhibitors is truly inspiring.
I met up with friends at the fair on Saturday, and I believe it was an attendance-record day. It was definitely plenty of fun in the sun… accompanied by a healthy dose of fair-food indulgence!
What a fun experience for my first year exhibiting. I’m already looking forward to next year! 🧶❤️
