WHO'S EMMY, WHO'S LOU?

I have literally sat here for 2 hours trying to figure out what to write about Emmy & Lou Designs. Things I've come up with: 1) I started Emmy & Lou Designs in 2011 sewing headbands, baby bibs, baby oneies and these really weird fabric necklaces. I'm so glad I don't make any of those things anymore! 2) Emmy & Lou is named after my girls. No, Lou is not her name, it's a nickname her Uncle gave her after he said, " You look like Cindy LouWho." She kind of did when she was 3. 3) I figured out wood art stuff was my jam after I made this really cool "Moose Painting" on some reclaimed wood, because my hubby said he wanted to hang antlers in our house and there was NO WAY I was going to let that happen! 4) I had to drink 1 1/2 glasses of wine just to come up with the first 3 things. 5) At one point, my BFF joined me, then she moved. Still not over it. Miss her like crazy! 6) I've been refurbishing furniture for a few years and it still takes me a few weeks to figure out what I want to do to a new piece. I usually come up with the idea for the piece at 2 a.m. 7) I just decided that as I come up with stuff for the "About Us" section I'm just going to randomly add it. 8) If you think of anything I should include here, email it to me and I'll add it.
