Whether you’re a seasoned pitmaster or looking to get your feet wet in competition, this is the perfect event to jump into:
💰 Low Stakes, High Reward: With entry fees as low as $25 for Pulled Pork (People’s Choice) and only $50 for a NEBS sanctioned Chicken & Ribs, it’s one of the most accessible contests of the season. Plus, there are cash prizes and a Grand Champion title on the line!
🧡 Cook for a Cause: All proceeds from the event benefit The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Great BBQ tastes even better when it’s making a difference.
🍻 More Than Just BBQ: This is a full-day hangout at a beautiful outdoor brewery! Bring the whole family (including the four-legged members—it’s dog-friendly! 🐶).

Spent a little time measuring spices for our Kansas City sauce today. Getting ready for 2 charity events so keep looking out for dates and locations.

It might be -1⁰ outside but that doesn't stop me from smoking 4 racks of baby backs. 3 with Meat Church holy gospel rub and will get sauced with apple jalapeño (maybe, i haven't decided yet) and one with just SPG that will get sauced with our hot honey Carolina Mustard that I'm making today.

So..... this goes out to the fans of the Carolina Mustard Sauce..... we are debating on trying the Carolina Mustard sauce but instead of using regular honey we would use HOT HONEY giving it a little more kick... who would want to try some? All you have to do is like, share and comment on this post and I will randomly choose 4 people to get a free 4oz jar when we try it.
