Just for fun, this holiday weekend, we have … Patriot Brittle! We will only be open Saturday from 11-2 to accommodate a family need. We will be open regular hours Sunday from 11-5 and looks like it will be a good day to stop by and enjoy free coffee and a freshly baked scone!

It’s Farm Tour weekend in Loudoun! We have extra alpacas to visit and Darcy here with her pretty handmade spindles and gorgeous colors of dyed roving. Get a spindle and get a lesson from Darcy!

One of our over-wintered eastern black swallowtail butterflies emerged first thing this morning. While we were waiting for it to get its wings all pumped up a second one emerged! It has been a while since one “came out” and we were beginning to think we had duds. Two more to go!

Everybody has their new spring ‘do! Shearing was Tuesday. The little one looks so tiny after his first haircut! Come on out this weekend and feel their velvet coats!

The rhubarb is up and doing great so…here is our first batch of strawberry rhubarb jam! This year, due to requests,we have it in pint size too. The taste of spring in a jar!

Just in! Our newest sock is our over-the-calf Survival Sock, a cushy blend of alpaca, nylon and Lycra (mostly alpaca, of course) and machine washable and dry-able.
