come on in ✨

5 years we have called this place home. The first year or two, it looked nothing like this. We were using patio furniture and had no bed, but it was simple. It was beautiful. It was, the river.

we call it home now, but it means something different than it did last year, last month, last week. This place is filled with love, anger, fear, passion, guilt, contentment.

my relationship with myself has evolved here, greatly. my partnership with has been tangled and untangled, rewired and reworked, halted and grown.

Feng shui ✨ check out this bedroom we did with balance and mindfulness at the forefront.

A guide to feng shui can be found in our story highlights!

- Balance your space by flanking the main piece of furniture with lights or end tables
- Place your main piece of furniture in a “commanding position” meaning facing the door, if your layout allows. Here, it did not, so we put it in the most dominate space in the room
- No mirrors or technology
- Harmonize all 5 elements through color, texture, shape and decor (earth, water, metal, fire, wood)

I’m really proud of this. This pose, this state of being, this trip across the country.

So many exciting things and so many not-so-glorious moments that come with being out of your element. I’ve never been in a city like this, there’s lots of stimulation, lots of living and polarizing walks of life

Connor and I are living on Venice beach right now, in California. We’ll be here for a month. It is beautiful. It is moving. It has already opened my mind and my eyes to so many things I’ve never seen or experienced before

Tonight, I witnessed a very young man suffering from drug use and I cried. While riding my bike, I cried. What can I do to help him? I made a phone call and I believe that I made a difference tonight. We’re all just doing our best.

I am proud.

The natural wood accents, serene color pallet and layered textures create such a harmonious balance in this primary bedroom (featured from our Spring 2021 portfolio)

An oldie but a goodie - we love how good design is timeless. We completed this project for a client 2 years ago but the space still feel fresh and vibrant today!

I always ask my clients “what is it that you love about that design you saw on HGTV?” - because if we are outfitting a space based on what the celebrities on TV are doing, we will eventually fall out of love with it… because it was never ours in the first place.

Swipe to see the entire space for our vibrant client, Emmie, in Texas ✨🌸 (part of our 2021 portfolio)

This is an example of a 3D rendering of her actual space that she then turned into a reality on her own! Because she was a virtual client, our design team didn’t even have to step foot in her real space to make this design a reality! (Although, we have had remote clients that prefer we come in person, which is always an option!)

We created a layout, a concept board and a 3D design for her so that she could maximize her space (and that window view), as well as fully visualize what her new living room will look like!

We hand-selected her furniture pieces from unique vendors and stayed within her budget to knock this space out of the park for her!

What’s your favorite way to maximize your window view? I love omitting curtains as a way to let all of that light in, if it works for you!
