for the last four years, i have had the privilege of staying home with ellie and watching her grow. today, i start my first day of work since leaving the United States Army, and i couldn’t have imagined a more meaningful place for this next chapter.

i feel incredibly lucky to be learning from some of the best people in the industry. people i admire and genuinely enjoy being around. state street market has always been one of my favorite places to be. it is a place full of memories, including watching my daughter learn how to walk. when krista asked me if i wanted to help out it was an immediate yes!

i will be helping with online auctions, creating content, getting hands-on experience with estate sales, and working alongside some of my favorite people. i am excited to learn, grow, and see where this opportunity takes me.

a big thank you to ellie’s dad for stepping in while we’re still away on vacation. he went into my second booth on facetime to help me organize it some yesterday. then late last night the amazing Whimsy & Loved Thrifted Treasures and her husband stayed until past 1am to build us a wall on the left hand side of our booth next to hers. this community is filled with others that help, uplift, and show up with kindness for one another and for that i am so thankful. remember today is the soft opening of state street too! we are so excited.
