Friendly reminder that if your friends overdosing, you take them to the hospital. You don’t leave them in a field, a ditch, a basement, a bathroom or alone. You call 911 or drive to the hospital and take them inside, or you leave them outside the emergency room door and call the hospital to let them know someones outside that needs help. After you do that, you call their family, I don’t care if you call from a private number, but you let their family know their loved one needs someone by their side since you’re too afraid of gettin in trouble to be there for your “homie”. It very well could be the last time their family gets to tell them they love them. No one deserves to die alone, and no one deserves to die from something thats preventable. It’s absolutely embarrassing and disgraceful if you’re someone who’s witness an OD and did nothing about it because you were too scared to get yourself in trouble. I pray that eats your consience alive.
Drugs know no gender, they know no race, or age. Whether it’s the 1st time, or the 100th time everyone deserves a chance to turn around the one life they were given.
so the people who need help can reach out for it without fear of judgement. Not every addict is a ju**ie, and not everyone who dies of an overdose is an addict. And for those of you who have read this, this is in no way/shape/form an encouragement to do drugs. If that’s what you’ve taken from this, then you aren’t truly listening in the first place.
