Did I know this was going to be about pirates? Nope.

Did I enjoy it anyways? Yes, yes I did.

Fable is beautifully written and makes you wish you could just sail away on your own ship.

The cover is also beautiful and displays nicely on my bookshelf, so that's a plus!

Rule of Wolves is the second book in the King of Scars duology. I haven't done a review for King of Scars (5 stars in case you were curious) since I started writing reviews after I had already finished reading it.

However, I love this series and the entire Grishaverse.

These characters are so diverse and their relationships are so unexpected, but it all meshes together nicely.

If you haven't read ANY of the Grishaverse books, I definitely suggest you do and to start with Shadow and Bone trilogy. You won't regret it.

“You’re my soul’s song. My only love. My life eternal.”

I didn't want this story to end after just two books.

But Bone Crier's Dawn didn't disappoint.

We have two strong female main characters, one strong in the traditional badass way and the other who is strong in soft gentle ways but refuses to break or change.

There is definitely more action in this book as well and I finished it fairly quickly!

Still one of my favorite series to recommend to people.

Fated soul mates, enemies to lovers, and star crossed lovers all in one? Yes please.

Then through in bone magic, gods, and two badass female best friends and you got an amazing story.

Bone Crier's Moon was everything I was hoping it would be and a favorite YA book for me to recommend.

THIS BOY IS 10 ✨️🎉

Another day, another birthday 🎂

Today is Augger Dogger's 10th birthday. I have had this guy for 7-8 years now and I can't believe it.

He went from a dog not knowing how to dog, to a lazy dog that occasionally dogs and mostly judges me 🙄

But after everything we've been through and almost losing him last year, I've never been more grateful for this birthday 🖤

I loved Caraval. The whole idea of actual magic mixed with a circus vibe was really fun.

The main characters are also very interesting with how they each handle their situations and interact with each other.

“May your darkness be quiet and the light come sooner than you need.”

The Binding was not a typical book for me to read. There is definitely fantasy aspects to it, but nothing like what I usually read.

This story is definitely more along a historical romance with a dash of fantasy mixed in.

Despite it being light on fantasy, I absolutely LOVED The Binding. It definitely kept me on my toes and wondering what was going to happen next.
