Just a quick reminder that Saturday is the last day to register for classes! We have room available in these classes. Although some instructors may be willing to accept new students onsite, it’s helpful for them to know how many supplies they need before they travel to the show.

Learn to make itty bitty wet felted beads for lightweight stitch markers that you’ll love to use! Then we’ll create a beaded scissor fob to hold them so you’ll always know where to find your scissors and your stitch markers.

Materials Provided by Student:
All students should bring scissors, ideally the pair on which you want to add a fob. Magnification and battery-operated task lighting is also helpful if needed for close work

Materials Provided by Teacher:
Materials Fee includes handouts, wool roving, beads, and jewelry findings. Instructor will provide tools to use during class. Scissors are not included.

Fractals, or repeating smaller pattern scales, are seen in math, nature, and even spinning. This means of color management results in meandering, heathering, and intersecting striping in your knitted yarn. Spend a fun and educational few hours learning the history behind fractal spinning, how to select the fiber best suited to a fractal yarn, how to split your fiber for a fractal 2-ply and 3-ply, and more.

Treadle spinning wheel or e-spinner
Extra bobbins
Note-taking supplies.
